Beginning a new season always means saying goodbye to an old one. Sometimes that’s easy. Most times, it’s not.

As I’ve spent time in these past few months getting to know Tim and learning the Compassion Australia ropes, I’ve been incredibly blessed to see firsthand his passion for staff, supporters, and the work of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

For 10 years, he has led the ministry with humour, humility, integrity and wisdom. And now it’s time to farewell him in style.

This week is Tim Hanna’s last week at Compassion Australia. I know many of you have walked closely with Tim over the years, and I’d love to invite you to leave a message of support and encouragement for him as he steps into a new season.

God has worked through Tim in a powerful way to make an impact in thousands of lives—so please, join me in thanking him for his servant leadership and wish him well for the future.

And I look forward to journeying with you into a new season for Compassion, with the same heart to love, serve, and release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
