Much-loved CEO Tim Hanna has announced his plans to retire from his position in early 2020.
In the almost 10 years under his leadership, Compassion Australia has grown from around 85,000 children sponsored to more than 120,000 in 2019.
When announcing his plans to step down, Tim wanted to acknowledge God’s grace and goodness throughout his tenure. And he reserved a special thank you for donors, supporters and sponsors like you for your passion and commitment to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name!
Watch your special thank you message from CEO Tim Hanna as he announces his plans to retire from his position early in 2020.
“I’ve loved this season at Compassion and will continue to champion the cause,” says Tim. “My time as CEO may be drawing to a close, but my time as a sponsor and advocate for children living in poverty is certainly not over.”
Please keep Tim, his wife, Chris, and their family in your prayers over the next 12 months as they go through this period of transition. And please keep praying for Compassion’s Board as they prayerfully begin the process of recruitment for a new CEO.
Thank you for your prayers and partnership to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
