• What are Gifts of Compassion™?

  GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ empower children, families and communities to rise from poverty by meeting their urgent needs. For every GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ you order, you will receive a card describing the impact you’re making.

  Funds raised from the GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ catalogue are used to support Compassion's Critical Needs, which remove obstacles to children's development and implement preventative action. These interventions include providing safe water, disaster relief, emergency medical care, vocational training, infrastructure and much more—all issues that need to be addressed for a child to be released from poverty.

• How will I know when the recipient has been sent their Gifts of Compassion™ digital card?

  You will receive an email confirmation once your digital card has been sent. Please double check to ensure you provided their correct email. If you have any questions, you can call our friendly team on 1300 22 44 53 or email compassion@compassion.com.au.

• What do I receive when I order Gifts of Compassion™?

  For every GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ you order, you will receive a beautiful gift card describing the impact you’re making. The amount you have donated will not be printed on the card.

  Real goods and services represented by the GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ item you order will be given to children and families supported by Compassion around the world. However, please note that good development work means responding to the changing needs of children and families around the world. If, at the time of giving, there isn’t a need for your chosen gift, the funds will go towards a comparable, more urgent initiative.

• How long does it take for Gifts of Compassion™ cards to be delivered?

  If you select physical cards, your GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ cards will be posted to you within 14 working days from when you place your order. We send Gifts of Compassion cards directly to the person who orders them to enable you to personalise them before giving them to your friends and loved ones.

  If you’re planning to give a GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ at Christmas, please make sure you order your gifts no later than December 8th to allow enough time for them to arrive. We will continue to take orders after this date but your cards may arrive after Christmas.

  You can also choose to send a digital card to your recipient instead of a printed card. This is a great option if you’re short on time. You can choose for the digital card to be sent immediately or at a time of your choosing.

  The gifts featured in GIFTSOFCOMPASSION™ represent initiatives Compassion carries out to address the needs of children beyond sponsorship. As each country and community in the developing world has its own unique challenges to address, what these initiatives look like and how much they cost can vary. This means your donation will be pooled with others to fund an initiative.
