“The world loses 4.5 million children under age one every year.”

Nurture a new generation
Each Mums and Babies survival project reduces child mortality rates by equipping new and expecting mothers with critical care and guidance. Your support provides:
Home-based care
Monthly home visits provide mothers and their newborns with health check-ups, nutritional support and education, immunisations, sanitation training and more.
Advocacy for mums
Guidance and advocacy that ensures mothers can fairly access local health services and the essential support they need to thrive, including medical care and birth attendants.
Training and development
Learning opportunities, training sessions and expert advice on how to support their families and monitor their child’s healthy development.
Community support networks
Creating a support network where mothers develop their relational skills to combat isolation. Mothers also receive emotional support to thrive in their role as parents.
The first year of life is fragile
Your support helps babies grow, learn and thrive from before their first breath to their first birthday. In partnership with local churches, mums and babies receive personalised care to meet their most urgent needs, which often differ between countries.
Bangladesh
Undernutrition is a significant problem among Bangladesh’s children—and it often starts from birth. Your support gives mums and their babies access to a range of practical and loving care, including nutrition and breastfeeding information to help children grow healthy and strong.
Haiti
Haiti remains highly vulnerable to natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. As part of a holistic approach to care, your support helps to build community resilience by connecting mothers with health services, local networks and more.
Burkina Faso
Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of child poverty in the world. In Burkina Faso, your support allows mums and babies to receive holistic care, including income generation training for parents to help boost their incomes and reduce poverty.

“I wasn’t ready for pregnancy; our income wasn’t enough. Through the Mums and Babies survival project, we receive lessons and prayer. My heart and life feel resuscitated.”
